Sometimes the hardest part of the journey is simply believing you’re worthy of the trip. “Life hasn’t been the easiest on me lately. I won’t get into all the details now, but the tough times I’ve been living through have left me with many cracks. And although I’ve still managed to be a reasonably successful person, on most days I struggle desperately with my self-confidence. I just don’t feel good enough. I feel flawed. I feel like my cracks make me undesirable…” Those are the opening lines of an email I received recently from a new reader of our blog.…

I remember the day I met Sarah, a journalist who could outrun a caffeine drip. It was 2015, in a dingy newsroom in downtown Chicago, and she was juggling three deadlines, a latte, and a phone call from her editor. “You want to stay sharp?” she asked, mid-sip. “Try my morning routine.” Honestly, I was skeptical. But then I saw her energy, her focus. It was like she had cracked the code to some yaşam tarzı günlük gelişim ipuçları or something.Look, I get it. Life’s a whirlwind. We’re all busy. IntroductionVisual dysfunction is common after a concussion. A prospective study reported that 79/113 (70%) of adolescents had concussion-related vision problems.1 Accommodative and convergence insufficiency were the most common.1 Both can be easily screened for, as recommended by best practices in national and international concussion guidelines.2 3 Convergence insufficiency is screened for by measuring the near point of convergence (NPC), with a result of >6 cm considered abnormal.4 Accommodative insufficiency can be detected by measuring the amplitude of accommodation (AA), for which age-dependent norms are available; see figure 1.5 The American Academy of Pediatrics has suggested that a randomised clinical trial (RCT)…

A third-party arbitrator is ordering the Social Security Administration to restore telework for many of its employees, after the agency indefinitely suspended workplace flexibilities under the Trump administration. The arbitrator, in an order signed on Wednesday, directed SSA to restore telework for employees represented by the American Federation of Government Employees. The ruling brings back telework to levels that had been in place before mid-March 2025. Early in his second term, President Donald Trump ordered all federal employees to return to the office full-time. Before this mandate, SSA employees represented by AFGE were generally allowed to telework about two days…
