COLUMBIA, S.C. (WIS) – The Big Red Barn Retreat is raising money for its Horses for Mental Health campaign, which provides no-cost equine-assisted programs for veterans and first responders.

The programs use experiences with horses to help build connection, confidence, healing, and hope through post-traumatic growth.

The organization is working to reach its Mental Health Awareness Month goal through donations and campaign shares.
