Steph Curry’s Wife Ayesha Shares the Sweet July Skin Ritual She Uses With Their Daughters

Ayesha Curry has revealed the simple skincare ritual she shares with her daughters, turning her Sweet July Skin products into a way to spend quality time together away from the demands of her career.

She said she regularly enjoys ‘spa nights’ with her girls, using face masks as a chance to bond while introducing them to skincare in a calm, age-appropriate way.

The entrepreneur and mother said the routine has become particularly meaningful because beauty rituals were not part of her own childhood. Rather than treating skincare as simply a matter of appearance, Ayesha wants her daughters to view self-care as something that can make them feel good without becoming overly focused on beauty.

    Ayesha’s At-Home Spa Nights

Ayesha opened up about the family ritual while discussing Sweet July Skin’s hydrating masks, including its Pineapple Punch Hydrating Face Mask. She said she loves keeping face masks available at home and sometimes puts them in the fridge so they are cool when applied.

The masks have become part of what Ayesha described as family ‘spa nights’, when she puts them on alongside her daughters.

For the mother of four, the routine offers more than a skincare benefit. It gives her an opportunity to introduce her children to products she has helped create while enjoying a relaxed activity together.

Ayesha said the experience allows her to bring her daughters into a world of skincare that did not feature heavily during her own upbringing.

    A Different Approach to Beauty

Ayesha explained that there was no established skincare routine or dedicated ‘spa time’ when she was growing up. Her approach with her own children is therefore deliberately different.

She wants her daughters to understand the importance of caring for themselves, both physically and emotionally, without allowing beauty routines to become an unhealthy obsession.

The distinction is particularly relevant as younger children are increasingly exposed to beauty trends and products through social media.

Ayesha said she is conscious of how young people can become interested in beauty and wants her children to develop a balanced relationship with their routines. For her, skincare is ultimately about feeling good rather than chasing perfection.

Sweet July Becomes a Family Connection

The family ritual also gives Ayesha a personal connection to the skincare business she has built. Sweet July began as a lifestyle brand before expanding into skincare, with the beauty line drawing on Ayesha’s Caribbean heritage and her interest in food, wellness and self-care.

The business has since become an important part of her wider entrepreneurial career alongside her work as an actress, chef, author and television personality.

Reports have valued Sweet July at around $50 million. That figure is described as an estimated valuation rather than money Ayesha has personally earned.

The skincare business has also given her another way to share her interests with her children, turning products created for customers into something that has a place in her own home.

    Stephen Curry Supports the Business

Ayesha has credited her husband with encouraging her to pursue the skincare venture. Stephen Curry, the Golden State Warriors star and four-time NBA champion, has remained supportive of his wife’s business ambitions.

She recalled a recent moment when Stephen jokingly suggested that she use him to promote one of her products after he began making what she described as an advert without actually planning one.

For Ayesha, the most valuable part of Sweet July may not be its commercial success. The face-mask sessions with her daughters have turned a business built around skincare into a small but meaningful family tradition that she hopes will teach them that self-care is about confidence, connection and feeling good in their own skin.
