Grant support to accelerate assistive-tech innovation
Under the programme, the ₹75 lakh grant will help start-ups scale their solutions, expand deployment and reach more beneficiaries. In addition to financial support, the initiative will facilitate institutional partnerships and strengthen engagement with disability welfare organisations to build a sustainable ecosystem for assistive technologies.
Gopalakrishnan CS, Trustee, Hyundai Motor India Foundation, said the initiative reflects Hyundai’s commitment to fostering inclusion by supporting innovators developing solutions to real-world accessibility challenges. Prateek Madhav, CEO and Co-Founder of AssisTech Foundation, said the programme will help bridge the gap between innovation and large-scale deployment as global demand for assistive products continues to rise.
Hyundai said the initiative aligns with its ‘Progress for Humanity’ vision and seeks to create a more inclusive, barrier-free society by enabling equal opportunities through technology, partnerships and innovation.
