(Virtual Showroom): With less than 4 weeks to go, the conversation around Diversity and Inclusion in the minerals industry continues to evolve — calling for intentional action, collaboration, and a shared commitment to progress.

The Southern African Institute of Mining and Metallurgy (SAIMM) is reimagining its Diversity and Inclusion Committee to better reflect the needs of a changing industry. This initiative focuses on strengthening awareness, encouraging meaningful engagement, and fostering a culture where diverse perspectives are valued and included.

Taking place on 12 May at Southern Sun Rosebank, this engagement creates space for open dialogue, shared learning, and recognition of impactful practices that are shaping a more inclusive professional ecosystem.

Nominations are now open to recognise individuals and organisations driving meaningful impact in diversity and inclusion.
