Twinkle Khanna shares an honest glimpse into her menopause journey, revealing her daily routine, mindset shift, and the supplements she credits for feeling healthier at 52.

Twinkle Khanna opens up about menopause

Twinkle Khanna has never shied away from honest conversations, and her latest Instagram post is no exception. On January 25, the author and former actor shared a refreshingly candid update about her menopause journey offering followers a peek into her daily routine and the supplements she credits with helping her feel more like herself again.

In a series of three bare-faced selfies, Twinkle appeared glowing and self-assured, embracing her natural skin without makeup. Accompanying the photos was a thoughtful reflection on how her understanding of menopause has shifted over time. At 52, she acknowledged how demanding and disorienting the phase can be, while also speaking openly about the tools that have made it more manageable for her.

In her caption, she wrote with trademark wit that while good lighting helps, menopause is far less forgiving. She joked about once calling it “a bigger b*tch than I have ever been,” describing a prolonged period when she felt drained and ineffective, “like a phone with a faulty charger.”

    Finding what actually helps

Twinkle went on to explain that relief didn’t come from vague wellness platitudes or simply “accepting ageing.” Instead, she found stability through consistency and structure. Over time, a disciplined routine, anchored in regular workouts, carefully chosen supplements, and intentional moments of light-hearted joy helped her regain both energy and emotional balance.

What made the difference, she shared, was not chasing trends but committing to habits that supported her mental wellbeing and reminded her not to take life too seriously. Weight training, reading and writing, and unapologetically indulging in things she enjoys all played a role in her feeling better equipped to navigate this stage of life.

Summing it up, she wrote that feeling good after 50 came from strength training, “a small pharmacy’s worth of supplements,” the purpose she finds in books, and finally leaning into her playful side, regular mahjong sessions with close friends included.

    The supplements she swears by

Twinkle also listed the supplements she currently uses to support herself through menopause, while clarifying that she is still weighing the pros and cons of Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT). Emphasising caution, she urged followers to do their own research and consult medical professionals before starting anything new.

“While I continue to mull over the pros and cons of HRT, here’s what I’m currently taking to survive this transition,” she noted, adding that what works for her may not work for everyone.

    Her current supplement routine includes:

    Coenzyme Q10

    NAD

    Omega-3

    Lion’s Mane

Health & Hers Menopause Support Iron

    Vitamin D3

    Collagen

    Magnesium Glycinate

Through humour, honesty, and hard-earned self-awareness, Twinkle’s post struck a chord, reminding women that menopause may be challenging, but with the right support systems, it doesn’t have to dim their sense of vitality or joy.
