Twin Rivers Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center will host a Candlelight Vigil on Thursday, Sept. 10, 2026, beginning at 7:30 p.m., on the grounds of the Clark County Courthouse, 401 Clay St, Arkadelphia, in recognition of World Suicide Prevention Day and to promote suicide prevention awareness throughout the community.

Guest speakers representing Baptist Health, Ouachita Behavioral Health and Wellness, and Arkansas Counseling & Psychodiagnostics will share information and perspectives focused on suicide prevention, mental health, available resources, and the importance of reaching out for help.

The event will also include a candlelight remembrance honoring individuals whose lives have been lost to suicide while offering encouragement and hope to those who may be struggling or supporting a loved one.

“Suicide prevention is a community responsibility,” said Jason Campbell of Twin Rivers Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center. “This vigil gives us an opportunity to come together, remember those we have lost, listen to professionals who work with individuals and families every day, and remind our community that help and hope are available.”
