The Social Security Administration (SSA) in the United States issued the Supplemental Security Income (SSI) for July 2026 on Wednesday (July 1). It will issue the first instalment of the Social Security payment this week, and the beneficiaries will be those born between the first and the tenth of the month.
The second instalment will be issued in the third week of this month, and beneficiaries will be those born between the 11th and 20th of the month. The third and final instalment will be issued in the fourth week of July 2026, and the beneficiaries will be those born after the 20th of the month, according to the payment schedule released by the Social Security Administration.
Here is the Social Security July 2026 Payment Schedule:
- First Instalment – Wednesday (July 8).
- Second Instalment – Wednesday (July 15)
- Third Instalment – Wednesday (July 22)
SSA will issue another check this month for the SSI recipients. The SSI payments are issued on the first business day of the month. If this day falls on a weekend, the payment will be issued on the last weekday that falls before the usual pay date. Since August 1 falls on Saturday, the SSI for the month will be issued on Friday (July 31).

The beneficiaries can review their Social Security account to check whether they received the money or whether the credited amount is correct. If the payment didn’t get credited immediately, an individual can wait a few business days and check the bank balance again before contacting SSA, as bank processing can be delayed.
A beneficiary can contact SSA if they did not receive the payment within three business days. Keep the following documents ready before contacting the administration for a missing payment:
- Social Security Number
- Bank Account Details
- Payment Date
- Recent Change of Address
- Payee Status of Representative or Bank
