Who’s getting Social Security on Wednesday, June 24?
Of the 71.2 million Social Security recipients in the U.S., many are paid on the second, third or fourth Wednesday in each month, depending on their birthday.

June 2026’s full three-Wednesdays schedule is:

What other Social Security payment runs are on the June schedule?
- June 3: Social Security paid to some long-term recipients
Social Security recipients who signed up for their benefits before May 1997 were paid on June 3, regardless of their date of birth.
- June 3: Social Security paid to recipients who also claim SSI
Social Security can be combined with Supplemental Security Income (SSI), a scheme for certain low-income individuals. These double benefits recipients got SSI on June 1, followed by Social Security two days later.
How much are Social Security benefits?
- Retirement: $2,028.00
- Disability: $1,493.25
- Survivor: $1,626.59
(Average monthly benefit, per stats shared by the SSA.)
