Nearly 80 motorcyclists rode to raise mental health awareness and support adults recovering from mental illness.

Edward’s Ride for Mental Health Awareness was held May 16, 2026 at the Gardner Elks Lodge and Monument Park in honor of the late Edward Landry, according to a community announcement.

The event raised $15,000 for Crystal House Clubhouse, a program dedicated to the rehabilitation of adults recovering from mental illness. Gardner Mayor Michael Nicholson presented a citation to the Clubhouse during the event.

Nearly 80 bikers lined up in Gardner on May 16, 2026, ahead of an hour-long, police-escorted ride to honor Edward Landry’s legacy and support Crystal House Clubhouse, a program of Open Sky Community Services.

The hour-long, police-escorted ride was followed by a barbecue and live music in the park, where attendees shared information about mental health resources.

The event aimed to promote mental health awareness and support the Gardner-based Clubhouse, which provides rehabilitation services for adults recovering from mental illness.

The ride was organized in memory of Edward Landry.
