Jamshedpur, April 6: Reinforcing its commitment to inclusion and social responsibility, Tata Power marked World Autism Awareness Day by illuminating its key offices in blue across multiple locations in India. The initiative, led under its flagship Pay Autention initiative, aimed to raise awareness about autism, promote acceptance of neurodiversity, and visibly demonstrate support for individuals on the autism spectrum.

As part of this coordinated nationwide effort, Tata Power illuminated key operational locations including Tata Power Delhi Distribution in Delhi; Carnac, Mahalaxmi, and Borivali offices in Mumbai; and TPCODL, TPNODL, TPSODL, and TPWODL offices in Odisha, creating a powerful, unified visual expression that amplified the message of inclusion at scale.

Globally recognised as a symbol of autism awareness, the blue illumination served as more than a symbolic gesture, it acted as a catalyst to drive meaningful conversations around early understanding, acceptance, and equal opportunities for individuals with autism. By activating multiple regions simultaneously, Tata Power strengthened the visibility of the cause across diverse geographies, creating a broader platform for awareness and engagement.

Building on this momentum, Tata Power has planned a series of month-long activities across its locations throughout April, as part of Autism Awareness Month. These initiatives will focus on sustained engagement through employee volunteering, community outreach, awareness sessions, and capacity-building programmes, further strengthening the ecosystem of support for neurodiverse individuals and their caregivers.

Through Pay Autention, Tata Power is working towards creating a holistic and inclusive support framework that bridges gaps in awareness, access, and care. By combining on-ground impact with sustained communication and engagement, the company continues to integrate social impact into its broader sustainability agenda advancing inclusion, encouraging empathy, and contributing to a more equitable and accepting society where every individual has the opportunity to thrive.
