    Tourism Minister K. Lakshminarayanan
    greeting visitors who were offered free boat rides on International Women’s Day on Sunday (March 08, 2026).

    Free boat rides, health awareness initiatives and screening for breast and gynaecological cancers marked the celebration of International Women’s Day on Sunday (March 8, 2026).

    The Tourism Department hosted free boat rides for women, including international visitors, at Chunnambar, Nonankuppam and Ousteri boat houses.
