The Lighthouse Charity, a UK construction charity, and Ripple Suicide Prevention, who have developed online safety and crisis intervention technology, are launching their new partnership via a live webinar.
The partnership aims to encourage open conversations around mental health and suicide prevention, increase awareness of the support available to construction workers, and help employers build safer, more supportive workplaces.
As part of the launch, the organisations will co-host a live webinar on March 4 2026 at 11 am.
Construction remains one of the highest-risk industries for suicide in the UK. Suicide is the leading cause of death for men under 50, and for those working in construction, the risk is four times greater. While pressure, pace, and resilience are often seen as strengths within the sector, these same characteristics can make it harder for individuals to speak up or seek help.
CEO of the Lighthouse Charity, Sarah Bolton, added: “Our partnership with Ripple will ensure that there are even more pro-active measures in place to protect our workforce from harm. Using digital technology to intercept harmful online searches means that at risk individuals can be supported through their immediate crisis and signposted to our 24/7 helpline team who can deliver expert help and guide people to a safe space.”
