Before we get too deep into 2026, these are the cosmetics that I have tried in 2025 that have become my new favorites. Earlier, I reviewed all of them previously if you want the deets.
Makeup
- LYS TRIPLE FIX BLURRING SKIN TINT FOUNDATION STICK: In the mid-year, I bought shade LN3, my correct shade, after trying the shade sent to me in my Ipsy-Boxycharm box earlier in the year. I love this concealer/foundation stick. It’s so easy to apply, it’s buildable, and it covers whatever needs to be covered. I discovered it just in time since my Cover FX Cream Foundation seems to be discontinued. $27
- Thrive Causemetic Liquid Lash Extensions in Whitney/Grey: Although I’ve been using Thrive Liquid Lash Extensions on and off for about 4 years, they recently introduced this tubing mascara in Grey. For everyday wear and sometimes even for going out, Grey is a better choice for me when it comes to eye makeup rather than Black that appears too harsh. $26
- Beauty Pie SuperLuminous Undereye Genius Corrector, Light/Medium: I love love love this fabulous corrector that seems to me like a super concealer. It’s easy to apply with a brush or a finger, and it lasts and lasts. $36
Fragrance
- Hellenist Les Bras de Morphe EDP: Maybe because this delightful perfume was held hostage in a warehouse in Philadelphia for 3 months till it was able to go through US Customs, and I was charged $65 in tariffs before it was ultimately returned to me, it is my favorite scent of this year. On me, the scent is subtle, and it sits close to the skin. But it is so enveloping, with the following notes: Top notes: Violet Leaf, Heliotrope, Peach; Middle notes: Iris, Violet, Hazelnut; Base notes: Cashmeran, Tonka Bean, Vanilla. $208 US/$164 France
Skincare
- b. glen QuSome Lotion Moisture Concentrate: I save this velvety toning lotion for when I’m going out. It hydrates and transforms my skin, helping it hold on to moisture in my dry heated homes and other buildings as well as in the cold, windy outside air. $52
- b. glen QuSome Lifting Massage Serum: Again, I save this serum for when I’m going out. The pump bottle pumps out a small amount of lightweight gel-cream that I spread over my face where it disappears into my skin in seconds. It’s uplifting! $79
- Korres Black Pine Sculpt + Lift Serum: Love this liqui-gel, lightweight serum that lifts and firms my skin. I’m almost half way through my travel size dropper bottle, but I will certainly replace it with a full size. $72
- Korres Black Pine Bounce Firming Moisturizer: How can a moisturizer be fairly lightweight but firming at the same time? I don’t know, but Korres Black Pine Firming Moisturizer certainly is. It has a lovely disappearing scent, and it is greaseless. It hydrates, firms, and helps lines and wrinkles soften and even disappear. Good stuff. Comes in a full size jar and a half size tube. $59/$29
- Vivelab Revive Therapy Hair Brow Lash Serum: I wasn’t sure which category to put this lash serum in since I apply it to both my skin (along the lash line) as well as on my lashes and brows. The minute I saw the wand, I was sold. I love the ball at the end of the wand that makes application along the lash line a piece of cake! And the spiral bristles are perfect for applying directly to lashes. My sensitive eyes haven’t had any issues with this formula at all. My lashes seem to be growing longer than they already were! on sale for $23.97
These were my favorite new-to-me cosmetics for 2025. Probably I could have added even a few more. But how about you? Which makeup, skincare, haircare, fragrance products did you discover in 2025 that turned into your favorites?
