The Social Security Administration said a June payment reflects Social Security retirement benefits for July, while July benefits are paid in August.

July SSI payment schedule
Supplemental Security Income recipients are typically issued payments on the first business day of the month; this month, that is Wednesday, July 1. Occasionally, recipients may get two checks because the first business day of the following month is on a weekend or holiday.
SSI beneficiaries are slated to receive two payments in July: On Wednesday, July 1, and Friday, July 31. The July 31 payment is technically for August, so you won’t receive another SSI payment until Sept. 1.
The full SSI payment schedule for the rest of 2026 is as follows:
- Tuesday, Sept. 1, 2026
- Thursday, Oct. 1, 2026
- Friday, Oct. 30, 2026
- Tuesday, Dec. 1, 2026
- Thursday, Dec. 31, 2026
The SSA recommends beneficiaries who don’t receive a payment on their due date to first contact their bank or financial institution to see if there was a delay. If not, the SSA recommends calling 1-800-772-1213 or contacting a local Social Security office.
