Difficulties managing personal needs at home and additional challenges in the outside world, can leave one absolutely demoralized. Such negative perceptions can make it hard to pursue personal goals and are considered self-defeating.
Many people are affected in some way, shape or form by a disability. This does not stop them from achieving their goals. While you may be fearful about prospects or uncertain about a new way of living, supportive strategy and simply working through your apprehensions a step at a time help overcome a disabled outlook.

Acceptance

It presents another type of narrative that requires learning how to adjust. A refusal to change the way you perceive your circumstances or future life events, can leave you emotionally restricted. If you are going to proceed with achieving personal, professional or relationship goals, you must free yourself of a negative and restricting attitude.

Be Realistic
Set goals you can achieve by being realistic about it. If you need to ask for help, then do it. Remain aware of your limitations, but do not let it dictate your life and do not feel weak or as a burden to others when requesting support.
While pushing yourself to reach set goals is important, recognize the fine line between overdoing it and motivation.
Understand that you may fail along the way, but do not view this as a setback, rather as a learning curve. Life may prove difficult to understand at the best of times, but always take something away from situations that do not work out in your favor. When you do fail, rather than eliminate something you wish to achieve, modify your goal and take a different path to get to where you need to be.
